Yoeal is the Co-Founder of Seedhack, an operator-led venture studio and execution partner focused on building and scaling technology ventures across Africa and global markets. He also co-founded Sava, an SME banking platform in South Africa, and was previously the founder of Aspira, East Africa’s leading BNPL platform, which he scaled to $10M+ ARR and over 100 employees serving millions of customers.

Earlier in his career, Yoeal served as Chief Strategy Officer at the African Leadership University (ALU), helping the founding team establish universities in Rwanda and Mauritius. He began his career as an Equity Derivatives Trader at Merrill Lynch, working in both New York and Hong Kong.

Yoeal holds an MBA from Wharton and a BSE in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

He is a mentor at Madica, an early stage pan-african VC fund and a board member at the African Leadership University.
